1980s gearbox
Off-catalogue gear
The manufacturer isn’t answering and the line is down. We take the dimensions from the worn part and remake it with the right material and treatment for its function.
OUT-OF-PRODUCTION MECHANICAL SPARE PARTS
Vesalto rebuilds out-of-production mechanical components for those who can’t wait for the original supplier. A single point of contact, from the broken part to a ready-to-fit one.
Four steps from the broken component to a ready-to-fit part.
The broken component, an old drawing or photos with the measurements: that is enough to begin.
We tell you whether it can be rebuilt, with which materials and tolerances, at what lead time and price. The feasibility fee is modest and we deduct it from the quote if you proceed.
We remake the component properly, with materials, treatments and tolerances suited to its function. We don’t just copy the part that is already worn out.
You get the component ready to fit, with a technical dossier. We archive the project: the next reorder doesn’t start from scratch.
Being clear about scope is part of the guarantee: we tell you right away if a component is outside our field.
Three typical situations where we step in.

Special pulley
You can’t find it on the market anymore. We remake it to measure from the dimensions of the worn part and deliver it ready to fit.
Cam from an automatic machine
We rebuild the profile, verify it and archive the project. If you need it again, you don’t start from scratch.
Illustrative examples of how we work. Full confidentiality on drawings and components.
Yes. From the component, dimensioned photos or an old drawing we get what we need for the assessment and the reconstruction.
It depends on the component. We give you the lead time and price during the assessment, before you commit.
Yes. Absolute confidentiality on the customer’s drawings, components and know-how. For us it is a baseline condition.
Not for now. We stay away from safety-critical parts and items covered by an active patent, and we tell you during the assessment.
Functional warranty: if the component doesn’t fulfil the agreed function, we remake it. It doesn’t cover wear from use.
If you need to design and produce a component or assembly from scratch, with FEM validation, we handle that too.
Describe the component and the stopped machine. We’ll reply with the next steps.
